Why we started
A therapist recommends a supportive chair for a four-year-old who cannot yet sit unaided. A doctor mentions a walking frame for a grandmother recovering from a fall. And then the hard part begins — the shops that do not stock it, the prices that change with the day, the guessing about whether it will even fit.
Too often, families give up somewhere in that search. The child keeps being carried. The elder stops leaving the bedroom. Not because the equipment does not exist, but because nobody made it findable.
OT Plexus exists to close that gap — one clear place where the right equipment can be found, understood, and actually delivered.
Who we walk with
Every item in our catalogue is here because someone specific needed it.
A child born with cerebral palsy, a communication delay, or limited mobility is still a child who wants to play, learn, and be understood. The right equipment, early enough, changes what their childhood looks like.
Growing older should not mean giving up your own kitchen, your own bathroom, your own bed. Small, well-chosen aids let our parents and grandparents stay independent and safe in the homes they built.
Behind every device is a mother lifting a growing child, a nurse on a long shift, a therapist stretching a small budget. We choose equipment that makes their care lighter, not heavier.
The people behind it
Nothing in this catalogue arrives in a shipping container. The chairs, the standing frames, the trays — each one is measured, cut, assembled, sanded, and painted on our own benches by the women and men we employ.
That matters twice over. A child gets equipment shaped to their body rather than to an average. And the wage for building it stays with a household in the same community as the family who will use it.
